Details & limits

Years 0001–9999. Absolute calendar-day difference calculated in UTC. Include both dates adds one day.

Do daylight saving time and timezone affect the result?

No. The tool compares calendar dates in UTC and returns an absolute distance. Default counting excludes one endpoint; selecting “Include both dates” adds one day. Business days and holidays are not calculated.

Calendar days and inclusive counting

The result is the absolute difference between the dates, regardless of which one comes first. Including both dates adds one day, so a same-day range becomes one day. UTC calendar arithmetic avoids daylight-saving shifts. Dates from years 0001 to 9999 are supported. This counts all calendar days; it does not remove weekends or public holidays.
