The service

Vitali Web Tools provides free browser-based utilities operated by Salvatore Vitali in Zürich, Switzerland. All published tools can be used without an account. Each tool explains its supported formats, assumptions and processing limits.

Your inputs and results

You remain responsible for choosing inputs, having permission to process the files you use, and checking whether a result meets your needs. Keep original files when a transformation can change quality, formatting or document behavior. The service does not claim ownership of your inputs or generated results.

Calculations and file limits

Calculations are general tools for exploration. Financial projections depend on the assumptions you enter and are not guaranteed returns or personalized financial advice. Date and unit tools follow their stated conventions. Verify results before relying on them for a consequential decision.

Image and media processing can change quality, transparency, metadata or file size. PDF changes can invalidate signatures and remove forms or interactive features. Merging or compressing a PDF does not redact confidential content; use the dedicated redaction tool and review every page when redaction is needed. OCR and speech recognition can misread words, numbers and times. Check previews, corrected text and exported files before replacing or distributing an original.

Reasonable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to compromise its security, overload its infrastructure or bypass its processing limits. Those limits protect browser responsiveness and website availability.

Accounts and contact

Account sign-in is currently disabled. You can use every published tool without registering.

The contact form sends your message through the email service described in the privacy notice. Do not submit abusive automated messages or information you are not entitled to share. A sending confirmation records provider acceptance, not guaranteed delivery or a response deadline. Direct email is also available on the contact page.

Availability and responsibility

The operator aims to provide correct and reliable utilities but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file or browser, or suitability for every purpose. Report reproducible problems through the contact page. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or responsibility for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
