Convert OpenDocument text files into PDF locally; compare page styles, headers and tables in the actual output.
Preparing your tool…
How to use it
- Choose a ODT file or load the matching example. Its structure is checked locally.
- Keep the document print settings; optionally select a PDF page range.
- Explicitly load the local LibreOffice engine and create the PDF.
- Compare page breaks, fonts, tables, headers and tracked-change display with the source; then download.
Use the ODT version of the three-page text example. Check that its portrait pages, landscape section, table and page headers are represented in the exported PDF.
Details & limits
Up to 5 files, 10 MiB each and 100 PDF pages per output. Packages: 1,500 entries, 64 MiB expanded data; bounded images and content. The explicit first start downloads about 58 MB of static software and reserves 1 GiB of shared memory plus document/browser overhead. Use a current desktop browser. No document uploads. Macros, encrypted files, embedded OLE and external data are rejected. Fonts and pagination can differ; inspect the PDF.
Will ODT page styles and fonts look identical?
The local LibreOffice engine imports the OpenDocument text layout, but available fonts and layout defaults can differ from your installation. Compare page styles, headers and tables. The result is a PDF for viewing and printing, not a new editable ODT. Keep the original for later corrections.
