DOC to PDF
Share tool
Only this public address is included. Your files, inputs and results stay out of the link.
Convert supported older Word DOC files directly to PDF locally, then compare headers, text and page breaks.
Preparing your tool…
How to use it
- Choose a DOC file or load the matching example. Its structure is checked locally.
- Keep the document print settings; optionally select a PDF page range.
- Explicitly load the local LibreOffice engine and create the PDF.
- Compare page breaks, fonts, tables, headers and tracked-change display with the source; then download.
The included DOC example is a genuine older Word file, not a renamed DOCX. Compare the three output pages, header/footer text and landscape section with that source.
Details & limits
Up to 5 files, 10 MiB each and 100 PDF pages per output. Packages: 1,500 entries, 64 MiB expanded data; bounded images and content. The explicit first start downloads about 58 MB of static software and reserves 1 GiB of shared memory plus document/browser overhead. Use a current desktop browser. No document uploads. Macros, encrypted files, embedded OLE and external data are rejected. Fonts and pagination can differ; inspect the PDF.
Do I need to rename DOC to DOCX first?
No. This entry reads supported legacy DOC files directly and checks their binary container. Renaming a file does not convert it. Macros, encryption and embedded objects are not supported. Older font choices and layout may render differently; keep the DOC and inspect the PDF.
