Create a PDF from a DOCX document with its sections, tables and images; review font substitution and pagination.
Preparing your tool…
How to use it
- Choose a DOCX file or load the matching example. Its structure is checked locally.
- Keep the document print settings; optionally select a PDF page range.
- Explicitly load the local LibreOffice engine and create the PDF.
- Compare page breaks, fonts, tables, headers and tracked-change display with the source; then download.
Load the DOCX example and compare its three PDF pages: Müller Büro, ID 0012, table, headers and landscape section. A correct word alone does not establish correct page layout.
Details & limits
Up to 5 files, 10 MiB each and 100 PDF pages per output. Packages: 1,500 entries, 64 MiB expanded data; bounded images and content. The explicit first start downloads about 58 MB of static software and reserves 1 GiB of shared memory plus document/browser overhead. Use a current desktop browser. No document uploads. Macros, encrypted files, embedded OLE and external data are rejected. Fonts and pagination can differ; inspect the PDF.
What should I check in a DOCX export?
Compare section orientation, headers, tables and page breaks. Missing fonts can change line length and pagination. Comments and tracked changes need review in the source application; conversion is not a workflow for accepting revisions. Macro-enabled, encrypted or externally linked content is rejected.
