- Address area concealedOpaque black pixels; no removable text layer.
New PNG
Manually selected pixels are replaced by solid black in the exported image.
Inspect the entire saved image. Details outside your rectangles remain visible.
Illustrative example. Synthetic illustration, not a screenshot or automatic privacy scan. The source file and earlier copies remain unchanged.
How to use it
- Open a still image or screenshot and identify everything you want to hide.
- Draw solid black rectangles or enter exact pixel coordinates. Review the full image and undo or redo selections as needed.
- Download the new PNG and inspect the saved image before sharing it.
Example: Cover a synthetic delivery address with a solid black rectangle. The PNG contains black pixels in that area rather than a removable annotation.
Details & limits
One still PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 10 MiB, 20 megapixels and 8192 pixels per dimension. Up to 100 rectangles. Exported PNG must also fit the 10 MiB output limit. No PDF or animated-image redaction.
Does this automatically remove every private detail?
No. You select areas manually. Look for repeated names, reflections, barcodes and other clues outside the selected rectangles. The export is a newly rendered PNG without source EXIF metadata; it does not erase your original, other files, browser memory or copies you already shared.
