How to use it
- Enter each item with stock, reserved quantities and open orders.
- Set average daily usage, replenishment lead time, safety stock, additional coverage days and pack size.
- Review the reorder point and suggested quantity. Check current supplier information before creating a purchase order.
Example: 5 units per day, 4 days lead time and 10 units safety stock give a reorder point of 30. With 20 available units and 6 additional coverage days, a target of 60 gives a suggested order of 40 units.
Details & limits
Up to 30 items. Enter demand and delivery assumptions yourself. No live stock connection, automatic orders or guaranteed availability.
Does the suggested quantity guarantee enough stock?
No. It follows the demand and lead-time assumptions you enter. Reorder point is daily usage × lead time + safety stock. The target adds the chosen coverage after replenishment. Available inventory accounts for stock, open orders and reservations; it does not check when an existing order will arrive. Suggested orders round up to your chosen pack size. Recheck assumptions for seasonality and uncertain deliveries.
