Sign a PDF
Draw, type or import a visible signature and place it precisely.
Local processing · PDF up to 25 MiB / 100 pages · 200 fields or additions · 4,000 characters per field. Encrypted, digitally signed, scripted and XFA PDFs are rejected. Edited text uses Western European standard-font characters. JPEG/Flate images only; no inline images, JPX, JBIG2 or CCITT.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF or load the synthetic example.
- Draw with a mouse, touch or pen, type your signature using a font variant, or import your own signature image.
- Place the signature on the intended page. Set position, width, height and rotation; optional initials and date are separate editable additions.
- Use undo/redo and the page preview to check placement. Create the new PDF and inspect the actual exported preview before downloading.
- Use Reset when finished to clear the active source, drawing, additions and generated download.
Place a typed synthetic name on page 1 and a drawn mark on rotated page 2. Export and reopen the file: each mark must remain on its selected page and keep its intended orientation.
Details & limits
Local PDF processing: 25 MiB, 100 pages, 200 fields/additions and 4,000 characters per field; 60 seconds per operation. Encrypted, digitally signed, XFA and scripted PDFs or embedded files are rejected. Embedded images support checked JPEG and unfiltered/Flate pixels, up to 8,192 px per side; no inline images, JPEG 2000, JBIG2 or CCITT. Large expanded resources can be rejected. A visible signature is not a certificate-based or qualified electronic signature and does not verify identity. Signatures remain in temporary page memory until reset/navigation. Typed variants support Western European characters. Up to 5,000 drawing points; image imports up to 10 MiB and 20 megapixels.
Is this a digital certificate or proof of the signer's identity?
No. This tool adds a visible mark supplied by you. It does not issue certificates, verify identity, provide a qualified signature or make a blanket legal-validity claim. Existing digitally signed source PDFs are rejected to avoid silently changing them.
