Create fillable PDF forms

How to use it

1. Choose an existing PDF or explicitly start a blank A4 or Letter page.
2. Add a field, choose its type and assign a unique name and visible label/tooltip.
3. Set page, position, dimensions, font and text alignment. For radio and list fields, enter one option per line and choose an optional initial value.
4. Set required/read-only flags. Duplicate or remove fields, reorder their creation and use undo/redo to correct the design.
5. Create the fillable PDF and review the actual output preview. Open it in a PDF reader, enter answers, save and reopen to confirm the result.

Start on blank A4. Create a required name field, a multiline note, a checkbox, an Alpha/Beta radio group and a country dropdown. Their names must be distinct and their initial selections visible after reopening.

Details & limits

Local PDF processing: 25 MiB, 100 pages, 200 fields/additions and 4,000 characters per field; 60 seconds per operation. Encrypted, digitally signed, XFA and scripted PDFs or embedded files are rejected. Embedded images support checked JPEG and unfiltered/Flate pixels, up to 8,192 px per side; no inline images, JPEG 2000, JBIG2 or CCITT. Large expanded resources can be rejected. Existing fields remain unchanged; the total limit is 200 fields and 500 widgets. New field names use letters, digits, underscore and hyphen, starting with a letter. Labels and initial text use Western European characters. Field order supports annotation-order navigation; PDF reader preferences may override tab behavior. Dates can be clearly labeled text fields, without a promised calendar popup.
