PDF Mail Merge
Fill PDF text fields or add positioned text from CSV/XLSX rows. Preview individual records, then generate separate PDFs and a ZIP with a complete record manifest locally.
Preparing your tool…
How to use it
- Load a PDF template and table, choose the worksheet and header row, and review the displayed values.
- Map columns to existing text fields or rectangles on individual pages. Set fixed text size, wrapping, alignment and explicit blank/date/decimal rules.
- Generate sample PDFs and review every template page, including long and empty values. Correct any overflow or missing-character errors.
- Confirm the current mapping, create the batch and check the manifest. Download the ZIP or individual PDFs; failed records remain explicitly listed.
The synthetic example generates 100 two-page letters with IDs 00001–00100, accented names, a long wrapping name and optional multiline notes. A missing glyph or overflowing name produces a record error instead of clipped text.

10 MiB template, 1–20 unrotated pages, 5 MiB CSV/XLSX, 1–100 records, 60 mappings and 96 MiB output. At most 20 million embedded image pixels per document; unsupported filters are rejected. Ordinary text fields and Western European Helvetica/WinAnsi characters. Active, signed, encrypted, XFA and unsupported form templates are rejected. Embedded images: unfiltered/Flate pixels or checked JPEG, up to 8,192 px per side. Inline images, JPEG 2000, JBIG2, CCITT and unusual JPEG variants are unsupported.
Will the mail merge remove leading zeros or shrink long names?
Displayed table text is retained by default, including leading zeros. Date and decimal conversion require an explicit per-field choice. Text uses the selected fixed size: overflow must be corrected, never silently shrunk. Formula cells use stored results only. Original files stay unchanged; output metadata is not anonymized. Optional flattening removes form interactivity from the generated copies.
