Rotate PDF pages
Rotate selected original PDF pages by 90, 180 or 270 degrees.
Rotate original pages clockwise. Text, vectors, form fields and links stay in the PDF; the original file remains available on your device.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF or load the four-page synthetic example with an already rotated page and an offset crop.
- Enter physical page numbers or ranges, such as 1-3, 5. Leave the selection blank to rotate all pages.
- Choose a clockwise turn of 90°, 180° or 270°. Check the intended source pages in the preview.
- Rotate and create the PDF. Review the actual exported first page, download rotated.pdf and check any other changed pages in your reader.
A source with page rotations 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° becomes 90°, 180°, 180° and 270° when pages 1 and 2 receive a 90° turn. Existing text and form values remain part of the document.
Details & limits
Up to 25 MiB input/output and 100 pages; 60 seconds per operation. Encrypted or digitally signed PDFs, XFA, embedded files, active document actions and nonstandard UserUnit scales are unsupported. Checked JPEG and unfiltered/Flate images are supported within decoded-resource limits; no inline images, JPEG 2000, JBIG2 or CCITT. No PDF/A, PDF/UA or signature-validity certification. Rotation is limited to quarter turns. Page dimensions and existing cropping are respected; no free-angle image rebuild is performed.
Does rotating a PDF turn it into page images?
No. The original page rotation is changed without rasterising the document. Selectable text, vector paths, supported annotations, form fields, bookmarks and page labels remain in the file. Your source file is not overwritten. Check the saved output in the reader that will be used for viewing or printing.
