Needed, claimed and brought are separate
In potluck mode, taking responsibility is not the same as delivering an item.
Start with the total Juice Bottles Needed 3 Lea claims 2 Still available 1 Start with the total
The group needs three bottles of juice. Lea has a server-confirmed claim for two.
- Checked: Two bottles claimed
- Unchecked: Brought: not yet
Mark delivery separately
Lea marks the two bottles as brought only once they arrive. A claim alone does not mark them delivered.
Check the latest saved remainder before taking an item. Offline or conflicting claims are not confirmed.
Illustrative example. Fictional potluck example. Shared list data is stored by the service; units are not converted automatically.
How to use it
- Choose shopping or potluck, add the items and quantities.
- Share the participant link. Each person receives their own private access.
- Mark purchases or claim available quantities. Review the latest saved state before shopping.

Details & limits
500 items per list within a 700 KB shared-data budget. Quantities support three decimal places. A claim is confirmed only after the server accepts it. Units are never converted automatically.
Can two people claim the last portion?
The server checks and reserves quantities in one transaction. If another person gets there first, the request reports a conflict. Offline actions are not confirmed reservations.
