How to use it

  1. 1Choose a local video or the synthetic example.
  2. 2Select the section you want to retain.
  3. 3Create the WAV, listen to it and download.

Example: Save the first two seconds of the synthetic video as a WAV.

Details & limits

50 MiB / 60 seconds; 1920 px per side / 2.07 MP. One video and at most one audio track, mono/stereo at 8–96 kHz. Browser-supported codecs; PCM16 WAV output.

Does it download audio from YouTube?

No. Select a video file you already have permission to use. No remote video downloading or DRM bypass is provided.

Keep the sound, leave the video behind

A video may contain a useful spoken explanation or a sound you want to hear separately. Choose the start and end, then listen to the exported WAV. This creates an audio file, not a transcript, and does not separate voices from background sound. WAV preserves uncompressed samples and can be larger than the video’s compressed audio track. Unsupported codecs stop locally instead of uploading your recording.
