How to use it

  1. 1Open a local video or the example.
  2. 2Choose a timestamp and image format.
  3. 3Extract, inspect and download the frame.

Example: Export a still at one second in the synthetic clip.

Details & limits

50 MiB / 60 seconds; 1920 px per side / 2.07 MP. Browser-supported video codecs. One selected frame, not AI upscaling or a new camera exposure.

Can it make a blurry video frame sharp?

No. The output uses the available decoded frame. It does not generate missing detail or upscale with AI.

A real frame instead of a screenshot of a player

A player screenshot can include controls and a scaled image. Here the selected video frame is decoded into its own PNG or JPEG. Choose a moment, inspect the preview and save only that frame. The nearest decoded frame depends on the video’s actual timing; moving a slider cannot create detail or a new exposure between frames. Blurred source footage remains blurred.
