Only the chosen naming rules change the filename.
Review every name before export. Your device’s original files are not renamed.
Illustrative example. Synthetic example. Numbering follows the selected-file list; duplicate output names must be resolved.
How to use it
- Select the files whose copies should receive new names.
- Set literal text replacement, letter case, prefixes, suffixes or numbering. Review every original and new name side by side.
- Resolve flagged conflicts, create the renamed ZIP and download the checked copies.
Example: With prefix Trip- and numbering from 001, IMG_A.JPG becomes Trip-IMG_A-001.JPG. Its .JPG extension and file contents stay unchanged.
Details & limits
100 files, 16 MiB each and 32 MiB combined. Text rules: 100 characters each. Output names: 200 characters and 240 UTF-8 bytes. Numbering starts at 0–999999. No folder paths.
Does this rename files on my computer?
No. It creates downloadable copies inside a ZIP. Your selected originals remain untouched. Only the name before the final extension changes. Rules use literal, case-sensitive search, not regular expressions; duplicate output names are blocked even when only letter case differs.
