How to use it
- Choose XLSX or XLS files and check the source print areas.
- The engine uses existing print settings. You can limit the exported PDF page range.
- Explicitly load the engine and create the PDF; supported formulas are recalculated locally.
- Compare dates, totals, hidden content and page breaks before downloading.
The example workbook contains an invoice print area, repeated headings, leading-zero IDs and a chart. Actual exported formula results include 2,469.12 and 1,222.06. Number and date punctuation can differ between source formats.
Details & limits
Up to 5 files, 10 MiB each and 100 PDF pages per output. Packages: 1,500 entries, 64 MiB expanded data; bounded images and content. The explicit first start downloads about 58 MB of static software and reserves 1 GiB of shared memory plus document/browser overhead. Use a current desktop browser. No document uploads. Macros, encrypted files, embedded OLE and external data are rejected. Fonts and pagination can differ; inspect the PDF. OOXML workbooks: 20 sheets, 10,000 rows, 200 columns, 100,000 stored cells.
Are exact Excel formula results and number formats guaranteed?
No. LibreOffice recalculates supported formulas and has English (US) defaults. Explicit number formats are imported, but dates and formatting can differ between XLSX, XLS and ODS. There is no automatic Swiss-region override. Verify totals and date meaning, particularly ambiguous dates. External data connections are rejected.
