How to use it

  1. 1Choose a ODS file or load the matching example. Its structure is checked locally.
  2. 2The engine uses existing print settings. You can limit the exported PDF page range.
  3. 3Explicitly load the engine and create the PDF; supported formulas are recalculated locally.
  4. 4Compare dates, totals, hidden content and page breaks before downloading.

The ODS sample has an invoice print area and a chart. Inspect all three exported pages and compare totals, dates and printed headings; a PDF page count is not a worksheet count.

Details & limits

Up to 5 files, 10 MiB each and 100 PDF pages per output. Packages: 1,500 entries, 64 MiB expanded data; bounded images and content. The explicit first start downloads about 58 MB of static software and reserves 1 GiB of shared memory plus document/browser overhead. Use a current desktop browser. No document uploads. Macros, encrypted files, embedded OLE and external data are rejected. Fonts and pagination can differ; inspect the PDF. OOXML workbooks: 20 sheets, 10,000 rows, 200 columns, 100,000 stored cells.

Does the converter choose a new print area for my ODS?

No. It imports the workbook's print settings. Set print areas, scaling and repeated headings in your spreadsheet application before conversion. Supported formulas are recalculated locally; verify the results and date/number formats against the source. The PDF is a printable view, not an editable spreadsheet.

Review the printed result before sharing

Check the first and last page, wide tables and slides. The PDF is a separate output; keep the original file for further editing. Missing fonts and saved print areas can particularly affect the result.

No macros, embedded objects, external data or linked images. Documents are opened locally with LibreOffice. Fonts, line breaks and calculated values can differ from Microsoft Office; review the actual PDF.

Start the local engine

The first start downloads about 58 MB of software. The engine reserves 1 GiB of memory plus browser and document overhead. Use a current desktop browser with enough free memory. Your documents are not uploaded.
