How to use it
- Choose a XLSX file or load the matching example. Its structure is checked locally.
- The engine uses existing print settings. You can limit the exported PDF page range.
- Explicitly load the engine and create the PDF; supported formulas are recalculated locally.
- Compare dates, totals, hidden content and page breaks before downloading.
The XLSX sample exports three pages, including an invoice print area and a chart. Compare totals 2,469.12 and 1,222.06, dates, repeated headings and leading-zero IDs with the workbook.
Details & limits
Up to 5 files, 10 MiB each and 100 PDF pages per output. Packages: 1,500 entries, 64 MiB expanded data; bounded images and content. The explicit first start downloads about 58 MB of static software and reserves 1 GiB of shared memory plus document/browser overhead. Use a current desktop browser. No document uploads. Macros, encrypted files, embedded OLE and external data are rejected. Fonts and pagination can differ; inspect the PDF. OOXML workbooks: 20 sheets, 10,000 rows, 200 columns, 100,000 stored cells.
Why can a workbook produce more PDF pages than expected?
The existing print areas, scaling and page breaks determine the PDF. Change them in Excel first if the layout is too wide; this tool only offers an optional PDF page range. Supported formulas are recalculated by LibreOffice. Verify totals and dates: number formats and English (US) defaults can differ from Excel, and external data connections are rejected.
